The College of Fine Arts

The undergraduate and graduate minors in Arts Leadership + Business provide an educational foundation to explore current and emerging professional practices in a variety of creative industry fields

Students from all majors are eligible to declare their Arts Leadership + Business (ALBS) undergraduate or graduate Minor. ALBS courses explore a multitude of fascinating career paths within the creative economy. From building basic business skills to financial management, social media, business planning, leadership, fundraising, entrepreneurship, and non-profit arts administration, the ALBS program covers a wide range of topics as they relate to all the disciplines in the arts. Our diverse faculty prepares students to be successful in their chosen for-profit and/or non-profit field. The ALBS minor culminates with an Internship Program providing students with opportunities to develop professional skills and build an enduring network with our many community arts partners. • All students must be admitted to the University, whether as an incoming freshman, transfer student, or non-degree student. Apply online through the Admissions Department at UNM

•After meeting all CFA admission requirements, students must apply to become a declared major.
