2024 Hulsman Undergraduate Library Research Award Winners
Congratulations to Piper Lincoln and Kaitlin Bone for winning the 2024 Hulsman Undergraduate Library Research Award in the Emerging Researcher Category!
Kaitlin Bone (left image), an art major, won first place for her work, “Class Distinctions Between Moche Warriors: An Illustration in Ceramic Vessels.” She wrote the paper for Beth Norwood’s ARTH 2110 class in the Fall of 2023.
Piper Lincoln (right image), an anthropology major, won second place for her work, “Stonehenge: Not So Blank Slates.” Piper wrote this for Beth Norwood’s ARTH 1120 class in the spring of 2023.
The awards ceremony and reception will be in Zimmerman on Wednesday, April 17, 2024, from 3:30-5:00 pm.

UNM Theatre and Dance Faculty Member Sara Curran Ice accepted to 2026 OISTAT India Research Trip
The Department of Theatre and Dance would like to congratulate costume designer and UNM Faculty member Sara Curran Ice on her acceptance to the 2026 OISTAT India Research Trip. Ice is one of the eight participants chosen, four of whom are from the United States, to experience the textiles and practices of South India as it relates to the rich and dynamic performing arts in the region.
