Department of Art Associate Professor Meggan Gould has won a George A. and Eliza Gardner Howard Foundation Fellowship to support work on a new photographic project, entitled: Photography After Photography: A Reckoning. The Howard Foundation awarded 9 fellowships of $35,000 each for the 2022-2023 academic year in the fields of photography and film studies.
The George A. and Eliza Gardner Howard Foundation is an independent foundation administered at Brown University. It awards a limited number of fellowships each year for independent projects in selected fields, targeting its support specifically to early mid-career individuals, those who have achieved recognition for at least one major project.
