The Department of Music is thrilled to welcome Dr. Alexander Koops and Dr. Patrick Dill as our new Visiting Assistant Professors of Music Education.

Dr. Koops will be joining us as a Visiting Assistant Professor of Music Education (Instrumental). He brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to our program, and we can’t wait for our students to learn from him.

The 2025 Global Game Jam kicks off on Friday, January 24th, at 5:00 PM!

This jam site will be hosted in-person at Mesa del Sol (3rd floor) and online via the AGDG Discord. Whether you join us in person or remotely, the jam begins Friday, January 24th, at 5:00 PM. After the theme announcement, participants will brainstorm in groups, shuffle teams a few times, and pitch ideas to form final teams. Solo participation is also welcome!
Snacks and drinks will be provided for in-person participants.

For remote participants, voice and text chat channels will be set up for each team in the AGDG Discord. Please keep all communications within Discord for smooth coordination and accessibility for moderators.

Presentations will take place at 5:30 PM both online and in-person.
