A legend, known as a Griot, Male’ Fainke was born in Mali, West Africa. He is a master dancer and drummer who has traveled throughout the world sharing his culture, dance and music. He has lived in the U.S. for twenty-two years and has taught in a range of schools from elementary to university, as well as community classes across the country. He teaches African Dance and Drum, Djembe and Dun Dun, among many other African instruments.
