SCHOLARSHIPS & GRANTS
The Ana Chavira Award
Qualifications: Full-time undergraduate or graduate student who is a resident of New Mexico; who excels in more than one discipline within the College of Fine Arts; and who has financial need. Applicants are invited to make a case for financial need in their applications.
Selection Criteria: Selection will be based on demonstrable talent in more than one discipline (i.e., music and theatre) in the College of Fine Arts and academic achievement (3.0 GPA or better).
Amount: $500
Application Process:
- Submit an application (pick up in CA 1103 or print (.pdf)) to your faculty recommender who will add his/her recommendation and submit it to the department office
- Selection committee reviews nominations and selects recipients
- Recipients will be notified of awards
