Tamarind: Good In The Kitchen
Tamarind Institute announces the upcoming exhibition “Good In the Kitchen,” curated by John Mulvany. The exhibition includes prints created at Tamarind over the last thirty years that explore the impact of the women’s movement on both male and female artists. Mulvany has selected imagery of domestic scenes with strong autobiographical content. Mulvany’s intent is not to support any specific feminist theory, rather to invite the viewer to engage in an open dialogue regarding the artist’s gender and the chosen subject matter. The show is on view in the Tamarind Gallery from January 25 – March 14th.
