Connection to ARTstor is now live!
ARTstor is a digital library of approximately 550,000 images in the areas of art, architecture, the humanities, and social sciences with a set of tools to view, present, and manage images for research and pedagogical purposes.
Log in to ARTstor from a campus computer by pointing your browser to http://www.artstor.org and click on launch in the upper right-hand corner; or access ARTstor from any computer by linking to the resource from the University Libraries electronic resources page at http://elibrary.unm.edu/articles/databasesindexes.php then choose ARTstor under “A” or the link on the Fine Arts Library page at http://elibrary.unm.edu/falref/
ARTstor User Services will provide training for use of the ARTstor digital collections and presentation software (called OIV for Off-line Image Viewer) at UNM in early November. If you’d like to be notified of this and future training as it is offered, please email the Bunting Library at bbmsl@unm.edu or falref@unm.edu at the Fine Arts Library. During this initial roll-out period, while FAL & BVRL are developing and implementing training and support structures, it is recommended that faculty and students utilize the ARTstor produced on-line training modules or information sheets available under “using ARTstor” at the www.artstor.org website.
Please feel free to contact FAL or BVRL staff with questions or concerns.
